Kim Delaney, an American actress, is best known for her character the character Detective Diane Russell on ABC's NYPD Blue series for which she won an Emmy Award. Her roles include All My Children Philly CSI: Miami as well as Army Wives. Delaney was born the only girl from her mom who was a homemaker as well as a senior executive from her union, the United Auto Workers. Delaney lived most of her life with 4 brothers. Though she had a goal of becoming journalist, it was not until the time of her high school days that she began modeling.
